Q1: I'm not comfortable taking my clothes off - do I need to be naked?
A1: Certainly not, it is completely up to you. You can wear your own clothing or I have a collection of drapes, shirts, vest tops and skirts that you may like to try. The aim is to capture your pregnant form, whether through clothing or bare skin - it is up to you and how you feel on the day.

Q2: At what stage during my pregnancy is the best time to have photographs taken?
A2: I have taken photographs of pregnant women between 34 and 40 weeks. I would recommend week 36/37, this gains a balance between capturing your bump at its best and comfort, whilst also minimising the risk of your baby arriving before the booking date. If this happens of course, there is no cost to you.

Q3: Will my photographs appear on your website?
A3: Only with your permission. I completely respect the privacy of my clients and always check which images if any my clients do not wish to be used. This is reflected in the sample of photographs displayed on my website, with most people appearing 'anonymous' because only their bump is visible.

Q4: My baby is unpredictable, what if things don't go to plan on the day?
A4: The best photographs are taken of babies and children in their natural state, be that sleeping, smiling or even looking sorry for themselves, I am capturing the essence of what makes them unique. I am very used to babies having had two of my own, and I'm quite prepared to do a bit of waiting around in order to get that special shot.

Q5: How can I view the photos?
A5: After the sitting, your photographs can be viewed via a contact sheet. The 8x5" prints are included in the price of your sitting and subsequent images selected by you can be presented in a variety of formats (prices available on request).
